On Oct. 19, Paula Anderson Coaching and Consulting LLC held the 2nd annual empowerment conference in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Oriana Holmes was the keynote speaker. Holmes is a domestic violence intervention specialist certified by the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA).
She is also the board vice president of the Memphis and Shelby County Domestic and Sexual Violence Council. Her presentation covered domestic abuse, and a focus was placed on a recent celebrity domestic violence case.
Theresa Phelps shared resources about self-care for women and provided tips for managing stress.
James Gee presented on time management, and he talked about scheduling meetings when you are most productive.
The event culminated with the fiveyear milestone for Paula Anderson Coaching and Consulting LLC. Over the last five years, PACC has accomplished a lot which included obtaining government certifications, developing a leadership development program and acquiring a physical office.
Paula Anderson acknowledged the support of her son, Eric Ryan Brinson, throughout the years. “My son has been a tremendous blessing during the hard times; I relied on him for financial support when it was really tough,” said Anderson.
