As an entrepreneur or team leader, it is critical to have leadership characteristics that will inspire, motivate and transform employees and team members to perform at the highest level.  Below are four leadership styles to consider as you work with people.

A transformational leader inspires others to move beyond their current situation. He or she sees the potential in that individual and works to develop them.

A servant-leader traditionally leads by example and will be the first in line to work on the project or initiative. This leadership style is mostly found in faith-based organizations.

A transactional leader is focused more on the bottom-line and making sure the goals and tasks are completed.  Meeting goals and objectives are good. However, there is little room for creativity and autonomy.

A charismatic leader is a change agent and is relatable. This leadership style also provides inspiration to followers and team members.
